The Parker 75 was one of Parkers most succesful models and they were produced in a wide variety of finishes. One of the most prestigious finishes was the Sterling Silver Cisele, a hatched pattern 'borrowed' by George Parker from a cigarette case that he saw in the early 60's. This is a Sterling Silver Cisele Triple set comprising of a Fountain Pen, Ball Pen and pencil.
All three items have been used to varying degrees so I will describe their condition individually;
The Fountain Pen is fittted with a fine 14ct gold nib. The cap is in very good condition with no dings and no wear to the gold plating to the clip and tassie. The barrel has one very tiny indentation - not a ding, more of a bruise.
The Ball Pen is ding free but has some plating wear to the activation button at the top.
The Pencil is ding free and the plating is in perfect condition.
The set dates from around 1980 and is presented in a Parker clamshel type box which is not original to the set.
We are very lucky here at Vintage Fountain Pens Ltd as we are able to continue to run the business from home. However we are taking every precaution to ensure that we all remain safe, all envelopes are new and come from sealed packaging, all pens and accessories are kept in sealed cupboards until required and all work areas are disinfected on a daily basis. We are still taking in repairs and, as long as the Post Office is open, we are able to turn them round very quickly. Let us hope that we get on top of this virus very quickly and we can all get back to normal. Thank you for your continued support.
