This is a mint example of the rare No.36 Fountain Pen and matching no.23 Propelling Pencil. The set was made in the UK around 1940. It is finished in the desirable Lined Green Marble with gold filled trim to the cap bands and clip. The colours are still bright and vibtrant even after nearly 80 years. There are some very light marks and scratches commensurate with occasional use but other than that the set is in excellent condition and it is supplied in its original box.
The barrel imprint on both Pen and Pencil is crisp and deep and the gold filled trim is in good condition. Both items are in excellent working condition, the pen is fitted with a lovely Medium nib which writes fantastically smoothly.
They have been fully restored and are ready to write.
