This is a mint example of the rare No.759 Fountain Pen and matching Propelling Pencil. The set was made in the UK around 1940. It is finished in the desirable Blue Marble with gold filled trim to the cap bands and clip. There is some wear to the gold plate on the nozzle of the pencil other than that the set is in excellent condition. and is supplied in its original box.
The barrel imprint on both Pen and Pencil is crisp and deep and the gold filled trim is in perfect condition (Apart from the aforementioned pencil nozzle). Both items are in excellent working condition, the pen is fitted with a lovely Medium nib which writes fantastically smoothly with a lovely flex to it.
They have been fully restored and are ready to write.
We are very lucky here at Vintage Fountain Pens Ltd as we are able to continue to run the business from home. However we are taking every precaution to ensure that we all remain safe, all envelopes are new and come from sealed packaging, all pens and accessories are kept in sealed cupboards until required and all work areas are disinfected on a daily basis. We are still taking in repairs and, as long as the Post Office is open, we are able to turn them round very quickly. Let us hope that we get on top of this virus very quickly and we can all get back to normal. Thank you for your continued support.
