This is a very nice example of the Parker Vacumatic. It was made in the USA around 1937.
The pen is in very good condition throughout with only minor marks and scratches commensurate with light use. The gold plating to the clip and cap rings is in good condition with only very minor wear at the extremities.
The imprint on the barrel is worn but still legible.
The pen uses the earlier Lockdown filling mechanism, the locking action works perfectly and the pen has been fully serviced and a new diaphragm has been fitted. The pen is in full working order.
The 14ct gold nib is a lovely Fine, it is original to the pen and is in excellent condition. It writes very nicely.
