Description;

This is an excellent example of the famous Watermans Ideal finished in Black Hard Rubber with a lovely patterned Gold Filled Overlay. It was made in the USA around 1925.

The chased pattern to the overlay is in good condition and overall the pen is in good order with some minor brassing to the edges of the overlay. The cartouche has had a previous engraving removed.

It has been fully restored and now works perfectly. It is a lever filler and is fitted with a lovely Fine Semi Flexible nib which writes with a smooth line.
