This is a mint example of the rare No.17 Fountain Pen and matching Propelling Pencil. The set was made in the UK around 1940. It is finished in the desirable Burgundy and Balck Marble with gold filled trim to the cap bands and clip. It is virtually unused and in mint condition. The set is supplied in its original box.
The barrel imprint on both Pen and Pencil is crisp and deep and the gold filled trim is in perfect condition. Both items are in excellent working condition, the pen is fitted with a lovely Medium nib which writes fantastically smoothly.
They have been fully restored and are ready to write.
