8338 Classic Pens Sterling Silver Prototype. Mint and Boxed.

Classic Pens Ltd were formed in 1987 and specialised in the sale and repair of vintage fountain pens. They were later involved with re-working existing classic pens with expensive overlays. They created unique products and have quickly gained an excellent reputation for craftsmanship and quality.

Classic Pens have produced a number of pens based on models from Sheaffer and Aurora. The wonderful CP3 pen was based on the Aurora 88 and this pen is a similar looking prototype with a unique sterling silver mosaic design.

It is a big, heavy pen with a great deal of presence. It is beautifully crafted and the attention to detail is incredible. It is marked "ZJ1 Mozaique" around the cap band and given the number 00 of 25, the 00 being the number of the prototype.

Thew 18ct gold medium nib writes smoothly and the pen is supplied in its original presentation box.
