Inscription: The initials GA are lightly printed on the barrel.
The Parker Falcon (also known as the Parker 50) was introduced in 1979 and was a development of the earlier T1 model which featured a titanium body. The T1 failed because of the high production costs but the Falcon was made from more conventional materials and was an immediate success. The unitary nib from the T1 was retained and the pen's looks brought it wide acclaim. It also wrote like a dream and the pens were considered to be solidly built.
Despite their success these pens were not produced for very long and are now quite difficult to find.
This particular pen is the Falcon Fountain Pen finished in brushed Stainless Steel. The nib is a Fine and writes beautifully. It is in near mint condition with only very minor wear marks. There are the initials GA inscribed faintly on the barrel - they are difficult to see. The pen is supplied in its original box.
We are very lucky here at Vintage Fountain Pens Ltd as we are able to continue to run the business from home. However we are taking every precaution to ensure that we all remain safe, all envelopes are new and come from sealed packaging, all pens and accessories are kept in sealed cupboards until required and all work areas are disinfected on a daily basis. We are still taking in repairs and, as long as the Post Office is open, we are able to turn them round very quickly. Let us hope that we get on top of this virus very quickly and we can all get back to normal. Thank you for your continued support.
