Description.

This is a Parker 51 Propelling Pencil finished in Burgundy with a Lustralloy cap. Made in the UK, this is a very good example of this model from the mid 60's. It matches the Aerometric range of fountain pens made between 1948 and 1975, this is the Propelling pencil with a rotary action operated by turning the cap, there were also clutch pencils available at the time.

The pencil takes 0.9mm leads which are still readily available. The mechanism works perfectly.
