This is an excellent example of the famous Watermans Ideal No.52 in 9ct gold with the desirable Line and Dot pattern. It was made in the USA and has the date October 16th 1924 engraved on the Cartouche. Both cap and barrel are independantly hallmarked.
The pen is in excellent condition with no dings or dents in the barrel, there are a couple of marks on the very top of the cap along with the initials IL in script. The hard rubber feed and section are in perfect condition.
It has been fully restored and now works perfectly. It is a lever filler and is fitted with a lovely Fine very Flexible nib which writes with a smooth line.
This is a lovely pen in excellent condition. It is supplied in its original box.

We are very lucky here at Vintage Fountain Pens Ltd as we are able to continue to run the business from home. However we are taking every precaution to ensure that we all remain safe, all envelopes are new and come from sealed packaging, all pens and accessories are kept in sealed cupboards until required and all work areas are disinfected on a daily basis. We are still taking in repairs and, as long as the Post Office is open, we are able to turn them round very quickly. Let us hope that we get on top of this virus very quickly and we can all get back to normal. Thank you for your continued support.
