Description.

This is a good example of an early Swan Self Filling Fountain Pen, this is the SF2 which was made in the UK and dates from around 1930.

The pen is made from Red hard rubber in the desirable Woodgrain pattern and it has retained its original colour with no fading or darkening. It is fitted with two gold filled barrel rings.

The imprint on the barrel is still clear and the pen is in excellent condition throughout with some minor plating wear to the clip and bands. 

The No.2 Medium Italic nib writes smoothly.

The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write.
