This is a mint example of this very desirable set in whic is presented in one of the most iconic finishes - Cracked Ice. The set comprises of the prestigious No.58 Fountain Pen and a matching N0.33 Propelling Pencil. The set was made in the UK around 1955. the colours to the Cracked Ice finish are bright and vibrant with noe of the fading seen on earlier examples. The gold plate to the clips and cap rings is a little worn at the extremities, especially on the Fountain Pen.
The barrel imprint on both Pen and Pencil is crisp and deep and they are in excellent working condition, the pen is fitted with a lovely Medium nib which writes fantastically smoothly.
Overall the set is in stunning condition and it is supplied in its original box.
We are very lucky here at Vintage Fountain Pens Ltd as we are able to continue to run the business from home. However we are taking every precaution to ensure that we all remain safe, all envelopes are new and come from sealed packaging, all pens and accessories are kept in sealed cupboards until required and all work areas are disinfected on a daily basis. We are still taking in repairs and, as long as the Post Office is open, we are able to turn them round very quickly. Let us hope that we get on top of this virus very quickly and we can all get back to normal. Thank you for your continued support.
