This is a mint example of this rare No.829M Dandy Fountain Pen and matching No.2 Duro-Point Pencil. The set was made in the UK in the late 1920's and it is finished in the very desirable Woodgrain with gold filled trim to the rings. The colours are still bright and vibrant even after over 90 years. The set is in stunning condition and it is supplied in its original box which is dated 1928.
The barrel imprint on both Pen and Pencil is crisp and deep and the gold filled trim is in good condition. Both items are in excellent working condition, the pen is fitted with a lovely Fine Semi Flex nib which writes well.
They have been fully restored and are ready to write.
We are very lucky here at Vintage Fountain Pens Ltd as we are able to continue to run the business from home. However we are taking every precaution to ensure that we all remain safe, all envelopes are new and come from sealed packaging, all pens and accessories are kept in sealed cupboards until required and all work areas are disinfected on a daily basis. We are still taking in repairs and, as long as the Post Office is open, we are able to turn them round very quickly. Let us hope that we get on top of this virus very quickly and we can all get back to normal. Thank you for your continued support.
