The Parker 51 Ball Pens are now quite rare simply because they were such good pens, so they were used extensively. Most of them just wore out.
Made in the UK this is a very good example of this model dating from the mid sixties. It is finished in Classic Black with a rolled gold cap. It is in good order throughout with only minor marks. There are no dings in the cap. The plating is in good order with some very light wear at the extreme edge of the cap lip.
The pen takes standard Parker refills. It has the earlier steel cap threads which adds to its desirability. The mechanism works perfectly.
