This is a very nice example of the rare No.36 Fountain Pen. It was made in the UK around 1940. It is finished in the desirable Lined Burgundy with gold filled trim to the cap bands and clip. The colours are still bright and vibrant even after nearly 80 years. The pen is in excellent condition with light wear marks commensurate with use.
The barrel imprint is crisp and deep and the gold filled trim is in good condition.
The pen is fitted with a lovely Medium Italic nib which writes fantastically smoothly.
It has been fully restored and are ready to write.
