This pen is a mint example of the desirable No.700 and was produced around 1940. It is finished in Green Hatched marble with a transparent barrel window and gold filled trim to the clip. The cap is black hard rubber.
The imprint is clear and legible and the pen is in good condition with minor wear marks to the barrel and piston filling button. The transparent section on the barrel is a little opaque but it is still easy to see how much ink remains. The pen fills using a piston system, the only one that Conway Stewart produced.
The pen has a lovely Medium Nib which writes very smoothly. It has been fully restored and is ready to write.
We are very lucky here at Vintage Fountain Pens Ltd as we are able to continue to run the business from home. However we are taking every precaution to ensure that we all remain safe, all envelopes are new and come from sealed packaging, all pens and accessories are kept in sealed cupboards until required and all work areas are disinfected on a daily basis. We are still taking in repairs and, as long as the Post Office is open, we are able to turn them round very quickly. Let us hope that we get on top of this virus very quickly and we can all get back to normal. Thank you for your continued support.
