Description;

This is an excellent example of the famous Watermans Ideal. This is the 12 PSF (Pocket Self Filler) in Black Chased Hard Rubber. The pen was made in the USA around 1920 and is in very good condition with a good imprint. The chased pattern is crisp and deep.

The pen has an inscription near the bottom of the barrel, "John Shaw and Sons, (Salford) Ltd. Hydraulic Engineers, Salford"

The pen has been fully restored and now works perfectly. It is a lever filler and is fitted with an amazing Medium Full Flex nib.
