Description;

This is the Sheaffer Balance Lifetime Senior, one of the most iconic fountain pen designs ever made. The pen is finished and black and pearl marble, the celluloid material has darkened slightly with age, especially the barrel. This is quite normal with these pens, the early celluloid plastics were very susceptible to the chemicals released by the ink sacs.

Other than the darkening, the pen is in excellent condition with only very minor marks and scratches and some normal plating wear.. The pen has been fully serviced and it is fitted with a lovely smooth extra fine nib.
