Description;

Esterbrook enjoyed an excellent reputation as a manufacturer of well made economical Fountain Pens. Their use of thick plastics for the barrels and Stainless Steel for their Clips and Nibs meant that the pens were extremely robust. Even now, 60 years later it is rare to find an "Estie" with any corrosion problems.

The Relief models were made for Esterbrook in the UK by Conway Stewart and they are of a similar high quality. This is the No.2-L, the lever filler, other Relief pens had button fillers and there were also eye droppers available.

The pen is finished in Black Hard Rubber, it is quite worn and faded but don't worry about that!.

The nib is absolutely delightful, it is a Medium Italic, smooth as silk and it gives a lovely shape to you handwriting.

Apart from the fading mentioned above the pen is in overall good condition with light marks and scratches commensurate with use. The chrome plating to the clip and lever is in good condition with only minor wear to the extremities. It has been fully serviced and is ready to go.
