Description.

This is a very nice example of the Parker Duofold Vacumatic Fountain Pen and Pencil set, known by collectors as the "Duovac". It was made in Canada around 1944. The Duovac is a very attractive pen, it has the standard Vac colour of Golden Pearl interspersed with black vertical stripes. This is the later version of the Duovac with the plastic pump filler. The pencil has a rotary action with 1.0mm leads.

The set is in good condition throughout with minor marks and scratches commensurate with use. The gold plating is in good condition with some wear on the edges. The imprint on both barrels is clear and legible.

The diaphragm has been replaced and the pen is in full working order.

The 14ct gold nib writes smoothly with a lovely Medium Line.
