The CF was one of the first cartridge pens to be introduced. It was made in the UK from around 1962 until around 1965 but production continued in France well into the 70's. It was a tremendous pen and it was highly thought of but the cartridges were not a standard size and when they were no longer available the majority of CF's were discarded. The converters are very difficult to find as well.
The story is quite sad as the pens were made well and the design was pleasing to the eye. This story, however, has a happy ending as this particular pen, as well as being in very good condition, also comes with one of the rare converters so it can be used as it was intended.
This model was made in France around 1970 and has seen very little use. It is finished in brushed Stainless Steel. The Medium nib writes very nicely.
