Description;

Thomas De La Rue Ltd began manufacturing the Onoto range in 1905 and they quickly eastablished themselves in an already densely populated marketplace. The pens were successful because of the excellent quality of the materials used and the superior design of the filling system. Onoto pens were as good, if not better, than all their contemporaries including Parker, Watermans and Conway Stewart.

This is a superb example of the Onoto's "The Pen" No.6 Lever Filler finished in Brown Marble.

The pen is in very good condition, the colours in the marble finish are still vibrant and the pen only has very minor marks and scratches commensurate with light use. There is some minor wear to the plating on the edges of the clip. The original F sticker is still on the cap, designating the nib as a Fine.

The 14ct gold nib is in excellent condition and writes beatifully with a Fine Semi Flex line. Onoto pens are fabulous writing instruments and this one will give you years of faithful service.
