This is an excellent example of the Watermans Ideal made from Celluloid in the wonderful Black, Brown and Gold Marble pattern.
It was made in the USA around 1940 and is in good condition with a deep imprint and crisp colours. There are some honeycomb type holes in the cap which are hard to explain, hence the grading as a B. The nib makes up for this!
It has been fully restored and now works perfectly. It is a lever filler and is fitted with a smooth Medium Semi Flex Nib.
It is not perfect cosmetically but would make a lovely everyday writer.
