This is a super example of this popular pen. It is the model 3261 finished in Black. It is in good condition and the imprint on the barrel is clear and deep. The cap ring and clip show only very minor signs of wear. The cap still has its original price ticket on it showing a price of 25 shillings. It also has the purchase tax sticker for another 5/7 making a total cost (in 1940) of 30 shillings and 7 pence. This is equivalent to about £90 in todays money so it was definitely a mid to high range pen!!
The black hard rubber material has started to fade on this pen although the material under the stickers will be a lot darker.
The No.2 Medium Semi Flex nib is lovely, it writes smoothly and gives a lovely shape to your writing.
The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write.
