Description.

This is a very nice example of the Parker Duofold Vacumatic, known by collectors as the "Duovac". It was made in the USA around 1945. The Duovac is a very attractive pen, it has the standard Maroon Marble colour interspersed with black vertical stripes. This is the later version of the Duovac with the plastic pump filler.

The pen is in good condition throughout with minor marks and scratches commensurate with use. The gold plating is in good condition with some wear on the edges. The imprint on the barrel is faint but legible.

The diaphragm has been replaced and the pen is in full working order.

The 14ct gold nib writes smoothly with a lovely Medium Line.
