8352 Onoto Magna Classic Limited Edition Fountain Pen in Black and Sterling Silver. Mint and Boxed.

This is the Onoto Magna Classic, made by the Onoto Pen Company around 2010. The Magna is one of the most recognisable Onoto pens on the market and this model is based on the original from 1937. This Magna Classic has 3 sterling silver cap bands and the famous silver plated Onoto Chevron clip.

 

The distinctive Onoto logo is carved into the cap button complimented by a sterling silver barrel button. The durable, high density acrylic body comes in highly polished black. 

 

The pen is fitted with a hand finished, ultra smooth Onoto #7 gold plated Fine nib. The pen uses standard international cartridges or the supplied converter. 

The pens were produced in a limited edition of only 999 pens, this is the very desirable number 002. It comes in a presentation box and a signed Certificate of Authenticity, together with an Onoto History booklet and a cleaning cloth.

 

This is a superb example of Onoto's modern craftsmanship. These are prestigious pens with a great deal of presence.

 

I have not done a write test on these pens to preserve its mint condition.
