This pen is an early Conway Stewart in the desirable Woodgrain finish. It was produced around 1920 in the UK.
This pen started its life a stylographic ink pencil but the pencil point was broken so I replaced it with a fountain pen section and fitted a replacement nib and feed. It now looks really nice and writes perfectly. The original lever filling system works well and the pen has been fully serviced with a new ink sac. It is fitted with a 14ct warranted nib which writes smoothly with a fine line and has a slight flex to it.
The pen is in excellent condition throughout although there is a little wear to the plating on the clip and lever box.
The original ink pencil imprint is clear and and legible.
