Description;

This is an interesting pen. It was made by the Excelsior Pen Company in Germany in the early 1970's. Excelsior were a direct subsidiary of Montblanc and so this pen has an extremely good pedigree.

The pen was aimed at the student market and is made from Teal Blue plastic with a chromed cap and gold coloured trim. The pen is in effect brand new, it has never been inked. It is a Piston Filler, very similar to most of the European pens.

The nib is an extra fine but regular users report that the nib broadens out slightly with use. The nibs are very smooth and write really well.

This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a good quality Piston filling fountain pen with an excellent pedigree at a reasonable price.
