Description:

William Manton are one of the top Birmingham Gold and Silversmiths and have produced a wide range of items in Sterling Silver and Solid Gold over the last 100 years. This is one their lovely solid gold Ball Pens.

It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1987 with the makers mark WM and the .375 for 9ct Gold.

The pen is in full working order. There are one or two minor marks on the body but generally it is in very good condition.

These pens do not often appear on the market, it is to be considered as an investment rather than as a writing instrument although of course it is still in full working order. Without the body marks this pen would be twice the price.
