The Parker Duofold Lady was first introduced in 1925 as part of the first Duofold range. The first models were made from Red Hard Rubber, these later ones were made from Permanite, Parkers name for Celluloid.
The colours on this model are still strong and the imprint on the barrel is clear and crisp. There are only minor marks and scratches to the cap and barrel and the gold plating is still strong with some minor brassing on the extremities. The barrel has darkened very slightly in comparison to the cap.
The pen is totally original and has been fully serviced.
The nib is a fine which writes very smoothly. These are lovely pens and quite scarce in good condition.
