This is one of the original RMS Queen Elizabeth Special Edition sets which were made in 1976 and limited to 5000 numbered pieces. They are made from brass reclaimed from the RMS Queen Elizabeth which sank in Hong Kong Harbour in 1972.
This one is number 1445 and the pen comes with its original certificate of authenticity complete with the serial number.
The original limited edition pen quickly sold out very quickly and as the years have gone by they have become more difficult to get hold of. This is a rare opportunity to buy one in mint condition.
The pen is supplied in its original box. It has been inked only once or twice in its life and is as near mint as you are going to get from a pen over 40 years old.
This pen should be considered as a serious investment.
