This is a top quality Cross Townsend Year of the Rat special edition Ballpoint Pen, part of the Chinese Zodiac series.

2020 is the Year of the Rat, and Cross have produced a stunning Townsend Ballpoint Pen to commemorate it. The brass barrel is finished in hand-polished rich blue lacquer with deep-etched engravings and 23ct gold-plated inlays and appointments. Fitted with a smooth-writing Cross refill in black.

The Townsend is one of the classic Cross pen designs. Inspired by the lines of 1930s Art Deco, but with an elegant American twist, the Townsend can be distinguished from its rivals by its iconic double-banded cap and the lifetime of smooth, effortless writing that it will deliver.
