The Parker Falcon (also known as the Parker 50) was introduced in 1979 and was a development of the earlier T1 model which featured a titanium body. The T1 failed because of the high production costs but the Falcon was made from more conventional materials and was an immediate success. The unitary nib from the T1 was retained and the pen's looks brought it wide acclaim. It also wrote like a dream and the pens were considered to be solidly built.
Despite their success these pens were not produced for very long and are now quite difficult to find.
This particular pen is the rare Falcon Ball Pen finished in Matte Brown with gold filled trim to the clip. It is in near mint condition with only very minor wear marks.
