Description;

This is the top of the range Elysee Parthenon Fountain Pen made in limited numbers between 1992 and 1998. It is finished in Cloisonne over an 18ct gold plated grid, the Cloisonne finish is a Japanese style of enamel decoration in which the enamel is applied and fired in raised cells (as of soldered wires) on a brass background. It is a complex process and these pens are now much sought after. 

It is in mint condition throughout with only the lightest of handling marks. It is supplied in its original box with the outer sleeve.

It was made in Germany. The 18ct Gold nib is buttery smooth and writes with a wet medium line.
