The Wahl Eversharp Doric remains one of the most iconic and sought after pens of the twentieth century. It was introduced in 1931 and its Art Deco styling immediately caught the public's attention. Technically, the pen was brim full of innovation and introduced radical new features to the American market like the visible ink window and the piston filling mechanism.

Many pens have followed the standards set by this tremendous pen and you can still find modern pens based on the very same design.

This particular pen is in fabulous condition with minor marks and scratches commensurate with use. It is made from celluloid with a hatched brown marble finish which is both beautiful and rare. It has an Art Deco cap band and gold filled trim. The pen is fitted with an ink shut off device which works perfectly.

The pen has been fully serviced with a new piston rod and seals. It is fitted with a lovely smooth Medium flexible nib. The legend on the cap is still clear and visible.

This is a fabulous example of this iconic pen in a hard-to-find finish.
