This is a nice example of the lovely No.388 Fountain Pen and matching No.18 Propelling Pencil. The set was made in the UK around 1940. It is finished in the desirable Blue Marble with gold filled trim to the cap bands and clip.

The Fountain pen is in very nice condition with only minor marks. It is fitted with a lovely Broad Italic nib.

The pencil works fine and is in similar very good condition. Both pen and pencil have the initials "DJR" engraved on them. 

The barrel imprint on both Pen and Pencil is crisp and the gold filled trim is in good condition. The set is supplied in its original box.
