This is a fantastic example of the original Kaweco Sport. It was made in Germany in the early 1970's and is not to be confused with the modern Kaweco Sport pens which are a pale imitation of this classic set.

The set consists of the V16N Fountain Pen and the matching 619 Ball Pen, they are supplied in their original leather pouch. The set was originally developed as a pocket pen set so the fountain pen is designed with a long cap, the pen is only 100mm long when in the case but extends to a very usable 133mm when the cap is posted. The nib is the original 14ct gold, it is a Broad and is fantastic to write with!!

The ball pen takes the original vintage Kaweco refills but I have to be honest and say that they are not particularly easy to get hold of. They are available from Germany or the USA for around £20 including postage. The one in the pen at present is not working.

The original Kaweco logos are still on the end of each item.
