Description.

This is a fabulous example of an early Blackbird Self Filling Fountain Pen, this is the Self Filling model which was made in the UK and dates from around 1930.

The pen is made from Black Hard Rubber with a concentric line pattern. The imprint on the barrel is deep and clear and the pen is in excellent condition throughout.

The Medium Oblique Italic nib is a stunner! it writes smoothly and gives a lovely shape to your writing.

The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write.
