This is a good example of the No.16 Propelling Pencil which was made in the UK around 1950. It is finished in the lovely Lined Burgundy Marble with gold filled trim.

The imprint is clear and legible and the pencil is in very good overall condition with only minor wear marks. The mechanism works fine and the gold plating to the clip and nozzle is still in good order.
