Description.

This is a fabulous example of the Parker Duofold Vacumatic Senior, known by collectors as the "Duovac". It was made in the USA in 1941. The Duovac is a very attractive pen, it has the standard Blue and Silver Marble colour interspersed with Black vertical stripes. This is the earlier version of the Duovac with the Aluminium Speedline filler. It is also the Blue Diamond model given to Parkers 'top of the range' pens with a lifetime warranty.

The pen is in excellent condition throughout with minor marks and scratches commensurate with use. The gold plating is in good condition and the imprint on the barrel is clear and legible.

The diaphragm has been replaced and the pen is in full working order.

The 14ct gold nib writes smoothly with a lovely Fine Line.

You won't find many examples of this pen in better condition.
