Description;

The Parker Duofold Special was first introduced in the late 1920's as part of the Duofold Lucky Curve range. The pens were made from Permanite, Parkers name for Celluloid. The 'Special' Duofold sat between the standard and the Senior pens. They are the hardest of the Duofold Streamlined range to find nowadays.

The Lapis Lazuli finish is clear with only a slight darkening of the barrel compared to the cap. The imprint is clear and deep and there are only very minor wear marks.

The pen is totally original and has been fully serviced.

The nib is a lovely Fine which writes beautifully. These are lovely pens and very scarce in this sort of condition. The size and colour make this a very desirable pen. It is supplied in its original box which is a rare item on its own.
