Description;

The Parker Duofold Special was first introduced in the late 1920's as part of the Duofold Lucky Curve range. The pens were made from Permanite, Parkers name for Celluloid. The 'Special' Duofold sat between the standard and the Senior pens. They are the hardest of the Duofold range to find nowadays.

This is the earlier model, made in the USA around 1928. It is finished in the desirable Chinese Red Permanite with gold filled trim. The imprint is clear and deep and there are only very minor wear marks.

The pen is totally original and has been fully serviced.

The nib is a lovely Fine which writes beautifully. These are lovely pens and very scarce in this sort of condition. The size and colour make this a very desirable pen.
