Description;

This is a Conway Stewart 286 dating from around 1940. It is finished in Blue Marble which is in good condition with minor marks and blemishes from use. The plating to the edges of the clip is a little worn and the lever has some light pitting. 

The nib is a lovely smooth Medium which writes well.

The imprint is clear and legible and the pen has been fully restored. It is supplied in an original Conway Stewart repair box which still has the repair receipt inside, it was serviced in 1950 at a cost of four shillings and tuppence!
