Description;

The Parker Duofold Special was first introduced in the late 1920's as part of the Duofold Lucky Curve range. The pens were made from Permanite, Parkers name for Celluloid. The 'Special' Duofold sat between the standard and the Senior pens. They are the hardest of the Duofold Streamlined range to find nowadays.

The Lapis Lazuli finish is clear with a slight darkening of the barrel compared to the cap. The imprint is clear and deep. There are some wear marks and scratches commensurate with use but no cracks or chips.

The pen is totally original and has been fully serviced.

The nib is a lovely Broad side of Medium which writes beautifully. These are lovely pens and very desirable.
