Description;

The Parker Duofold Junior was first introduced in 1923 as part of the first Duofold range. The first models were made from Red or Black Hard Rubber. The Mandarin Yellow, Jade Green and Lapis Lazuli pens were introduced in 1927 and were made from Permanite, Parkers name for Celluloid. The Streamlined models with the slightly tapered cap and barrel were introduced in the late 20's.

This is a Duofold Junior Streamlined Fountain Pen in Jade Green marble. It was made around 1935 and is in very good condition.

The colours are clean and bright with a little of the usual darkening of the barrel and top of the cap, the imprint is worn but still legible. The gold plating to the clip and cap ring is in lovely condition with only very minor wear.

The pen has been fully serviced and is filling and writing exactly as it did nearly 100 years ago. It has been thoroughly cleaned and prepared. 

All parts of the pen are totally original, including the fabulous Medium Stub 14ct gold nib.

This is a wonderful pen, the condition is excellent. The nib is smooth and the gold plating is strong.
