Description.

This is an excellent example of this relatively rare Blackbird 5245 Self Filling Fountain Pen, a pen which continues to be very popular with collectors and enthusiasts. The imprint on the barrel is clear and legible and the pen is in very good condition overall with only very minor wear marks. The chrome plating to the clip and lever is sound with no wear.

The Fine side of Medium Nib is superb and writes smoothly. It is a tremendous nib and a real pleasure to write with.

The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write.
