Description.

This is a superb example of this Swan Leverless Fountain Pen, this is the 242/54 which was made in the UK and dates from around 1930.

The pen is finished in Classic Black and has Jade inlaid bands next to the gold filled bands on the cap. The imprint on the barrel end reads "242/54".

The pen is in excellent condition with light marks and scratches commensurate with use. There are no chips or cracks. 

The No.2 Fine Flex nib writes smoothly and gives a lovely shape to your writing. The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write.
