Description.

The Visofil range was first introduced by Mabie Todd in 1934, there were two distinctly different models.

The Visofil V was an ink-visible model with a plunger system and a large ink capacity. in 1937 the Visofil VT was introduced in response to competition from the Parker Vacumatic. The VT used a more complicated filling system, and they are much more difficult to service than the original Visofil V. I am pleased to report that this particular pen, a Visofil V, has been fully serviced by the widely acknowledged Visofil expert, Dr Laurence Oldfield. The Visofils are excellent pens, the filling systems work very well, and they have a large ink capacity.

So, this pen is a Visofil V111/60 ladies pen in classic black with gold filled trim to the decorated cap band. The imprint on the barrel is clear and legible and the pen is in excellent condition overall with only minor wear marks. The plating to the band is in good order.

The original No.2 Fine nib writes smoothly with a wonderful flex which gives a lovely shape to your writing. 

The pen has been fully serviced and is ready to write.
