Description;

The Parker Duofold Junior was first introduced in the 1950's as part of the Duofold Aerometric range. The range consisted of the Slimfold with the No.5 nib, the Junior with the larger No.10 nib, the standard Duofold and the Demi with the No.25 nib, the Senior with the No.35 nib and, finally, the prestigious Maxima, fitted with the huge No.50 nib. The range was produced right through to the 1970's and they were extremely popular because of their reliability and quality.

This particular pen is a Duofold Junior dating from around 1965. It comes with the matching Duofold Junior Pencil and they are finished in Burgundy with gold filled trim to the clips and cap rings. The Fountain Pen is fitted with a super smooth Medium nib which writes nicely, it has a little kink near the tips but this does not affect its writing performance at all. The pen uses the reliable aerometric filler (for filling with ink from a bottle.) The set is in good condition with some wear marks.
