Description;

The Parker Duofold Senior was first introduced in the late 50's as part of the Duofold Aerometric range. The range consisted of the the Slimfold with the No.5 nib, the Junior with the larger No.10 nib, the standard Duofold and the Demi with the No.25 nib, the Senior with the No.35 nib and, finally, the prestigious Maxima, fitted with the huge No.50 nib. The range was produced right through to the 1970's and they were extremely popular because of their reliability and quality.

This is a lovely example of the Senior, dating from around 1960. It is in excellent condition and is finished in blue with gold filled trim to the clip and cap ring. There is very little wear to the gold plate on the clip and cap ring and only very minor marks and light scratches on the cap and barrel. It writes with a beautiful smooth Medium line and it uses the fabulously reliable aerometric filling system. It is fully serviced and ready to write.

The nib is 14ct gold and in perfect condition.
